Cara Nak Buang Linux Ubuntu Dari Windows Dual-Boot Computer

WHAT IS LINUX?

Linux ialah sistem operasi/operation system(OS), same macam windows juga yang mempunyai pelbagai versi seperti Backtrack, Redhat, Fedora, Mandrive, Blankton dll. Berbeza dengan Windows yg hanya diasaskan oleh Microsoft, Linux ni dikembangkan oleh banyak kelompok pihak dan pelbagai syarikat.

Untuk aplikasi networking, Linux jauh berbeza dengan Windows kerana ia lebih bebas malah source codenya pon kebanyakkan sudah tersedia. Sebab itulah kebanyakkan syarikat menggunakan Linux sebagai OS utk server mereka. Disini, Windows memang kalah teruk terutama diaplikasi webserver, proxy, firewall, mail dll. Lebih2 lg, Linux lebih menjimatkan space iaitu pada memory and harddisk berbanding dengan OS yg laen. :)

Biasanya, mereka yang memakai Dual-Boot OS termasuk dengan Linux OS menghadapi masalah pada ketika membuka kmputer mereka. haha..! Skrin hitam GRUB akn keluar selepas bios setup tentang list operating system yg ingin dibuka oleh users. Limit masa selama 10saat ditetapkn sekiranya tiada tindakkan diambil dan seterusnya ia akan terus ke program Linux. kih3..

So, anda nk buang OS yg susah nk dpelajari ini? Senang sahaja..

1st : Delete Linux Partitions

Delete semua Linux partition. Ini termasuk boot, swap, home, or whatever way you set up your system, it is time to delete all Linux partitions. Ada banyak cara untuk delete Linux Partition ni, paling senang adalah melalui Windows Computer Management. So:

1. Log masuk komputer dengan administrative privileges.
2. Right click di My Computer and pilih ‘Manage’.
3. Pilih ‘Disk Management’ yang tersenarai di ‘Storage’ . Disini anda dapat melihat semua partition yg ad di komputer anda.

Disini anda perlu mengenal pasti which one is the Linux partition. Secara umumnya, Linux partitions tidak mempunyai sistem file bersama jika Windows tidak dapat mengenalinya. Jadi ini akan menjadi petunjuk bahawa partition itu mengandungi Linux. Cara lain adalah dengan mengenalpasti size partition ataupun partition number. Setelah mengenali partition Linux, delete the partitions! But remember that you delete the correct ones. Sekarang Linux dah tiada, cume tinggal GRUB, dimana membenarkan anda memilih operating system untuk digunakan. GRUB ini akan mengeluarkan msg error selepas anda delete partition Linux td. Keadaan ini akan muncul setelah anda restart computer anda. So now dont worry, we are going to fix it! :)

2nd : Restore MBR

Sekarang, anda perlu boot dari CD/DVD Windows untuk restore Master Boot Record. Anda boleh menggunakan mane2 Live CDs. Caranya begini:

• Boot from Windows CD/DVD, bile dia kuar, pilih “Repair”

• Pilih command prompt pada screen yg keluar and anda cume perlu run kn dua command dibawah:

• bootrec /fixmbr
• bootrec /fixboot

* For XP users need to run the recovery console from Windows XP CD and then type fixmbr when at the command prompt.

3rd : Reclaim free space

Kemudian restart kmputer, jgn lupe untuk buang CD boot tu and anda semestinya dapat masuk ke Window anda!! Tahniah!  Lagi satu, jgn lupe untuk claims the unpartitioned free space yang mana bekas Linux tuh la.. haha.. So simple and easy, just follow me:

1. Buka Disk Management sperti sbelum ni.
2. Right-click kat unparitioned space kemudian pilih new partition atau new logical drive.
3. Tentukan size dan pelbagai option laen mengikut keperluan anda. And the u're DONE!!

Partition baru yang anda buat itu akan dapat diakses melalui My Computer sebagai partition yang lain seperti biasa. Sebenarnya, anda dapat membina banyak lagi partitiondaripada freespace yang ada atau anda juga boleh resize other partition yang sedia ada mengikut keperluan anda. Anda juga boleh menggunakan pelbagai utilities yg sedia ade seperti GParted, Easues Partition Master dan banyak lagi di internet.

Mari Format Laptop Sendiri

Rata-rata pelajar mempunyai komputer sendiri sama ada notebook/PC.. Kemahiran komputer adalah sangat ditekankan pada masa kini walhal dunia sekarang menuju kearah globalisasi dimana hampir setiap pekerjaan menggunakan komputer. Semakin hari, Cabaran teknologi maklumat memerlukan manusia yang bersedia dan berpelajaran untuk berhadapan dengan kemajuan yang pesat dan berterusan. Pada pendapat saya, pembudayaan ilmu teknologi perlu diasuh sejak alam kanak-kanak lagi untuk menjadi pendedahan awal dalam menghadapi cabaran dunia masa hadapan.

Kerosakkan komputer selalu terjadi disebabkan oleh pelbagai masalah dalaman seperti missing boot mgr, virus attack, hackers, error msg i.e blue screen, and etc. Disini saya akan menyatakan tentang cara-cara untuk format your own computer. Lebih baek belajar dari abes duit hantar kedai. :P

First, you all kena la ade windows installer dl.. kalo xde, cane nk install.. kih3.. nk senang, beli je kt kedai kmputer, RM10 je kot yg pirate pnye.. haha.. Untuk format ni, kite bkn saje boleh gune DVD, malah boleh jgk pakai usb pendrive, external harddisk.. pndai2 la korang gune ye.. :)

In the next restart process, we are looking for a message that says, "To enter bios, press the "Delete" key or "F2" or maybe some other key. If prompted, please press the key specified on the screen."

Skrg kite dlm BIOS, we are looking for a setting that says, 'Boot' or 'Boot Sequence' or 'Boot Order' look under the various menu options in your bios screen. Dibawah tu, mesti ade instructions for navigating the bios and making changes. Just follow them!! Find the setting for the boot order and make sure that CDROM is first depend on the type of the type of format you want to do. But if you are using the USB pendrive, select the USB which the name of your pendrive type that appear at the boot order. Save changes and exit. Probably by pressing the F10 key but look around for instructions that tell you how to do this. They will be somewhere on the screen. 

 

Lepas tu, save and exit, your computer will reboot. This time, it will or should display the "Press any key to boot from CD". 

Then,  configuring the system for booting from a DVD, the Windows Setup screen appears. At this point, Setup is loading the driver files it needs to continue with installation

Lepas tu, skrin akan kuar macam progress bar which indicate to the Windows 7 is still working in the background.

Option pertama will come across for Language, Time and currency format, and Keyboard layout. Buat pilihan anda, mane la taw kot2 anda nk gune bahasa sepanyol ke kan.. haha..  And then press the Next button.

Next,  we have the option of repairing a previous installation or "Install Now." Tapi kite nk clean installation of Windows & bkn nk repair.. so then, Install Now is the proper choice. Klik the "Install Now" button to continue to the next screen.

Windows 7 is working in the background. Mungkin dalam beberapa minit depend pada system anda la...


Then, we see the License Agreement you must accept before continuing.
After reading the agreement, check the box next to "I accept the license terms" and select Next button.

Sekarang kite bole pilih samada nk "Upgrade" install (if running setup from a previous version of Windows, such as Vista) atau "Custom" (clean) install. Tapi kite nk clean installation kn, so select the whole box containing "Custom (advanced)" to continue to the next screen.

The next step is where you can select which hard drive/partition to install Windows 7 on. Tetapi, system kite ni dlm hard drive, dimana situ jela Windows 7 bole pegi. Advanced options are shown in the next screen shot.
Kat sini jgk you all bole  install drivers dari ACPI/RAID/SATA controller menggunakan "Load Driver" option. After the installation of the ACPI/RAID/SATA drivers, your hard drives should appear as shown on the right. If no additional drivers are needed, select the Next button.

The advanced options ni membolehkan kite nk create partition laen la.. Contohnye kalo korg pnye C tu beso sgt, buat ler partition satu kn.. bole save barang2 pntg korg.. haha.. Lepas siap particular partition configuration korang nk tuh, select the Next button.

Sekarang ni plk ialah Windows 7 installs major components of the OS. Proses ni bese amek mase jgk, kalo kmputer korang tu laju kaw2, ram plk thp tggi 4gig> mmg ler skjp.. hik3.. bese dlm 30minit kot.. haha

Then, kite bole tgk la system needing to reboot to continue installation tasks. Xpe jgk kalo korg terus tekan Restart Now button atau korg bole je tggu beberapa saat untuk automatically reboot..

Now, the progress is Windows 7 updates the registry settings. This process may take several minutes before going to the next screen.

Windows 7 starts up required services at this point in the setup process.

Windows 7 continues to install at this screen.

After initial setup is complete, another reboot is required with no user input.

This is the screen you will be greeted with upon each boot. Windows 7 is starting up!

Xlame pstu, Setup is now preparing the system for initial booting. ni xsame ng yg lepas2 tuh, dimana korg xnmpk bnda ni setiap reboot yg berlaku.. huhuhu.

And then, Windows 7  akan tests the systems video performance to see if Aero will be enabled or not. Ni skejap jela.. lepak2 dl.. haha.

The next step ni, dimana kite nk buat initial account kite. Sape yg buat dia akan dpt full administrator privileges dan secara otomatik akan sign in after this setup. Masukkn user name and computer name as you would like it to be identified on the network and then select the Next button.

Sekarang  you to enter a password for the account that you just created. Saya recommend buat ler password. Masukkn dua kali pastu letak la hint apa2 kasi ko igt balik pssword ko. Kalo xnk letak pon xpe.. haha.. After this information is entered, select the Next button.

kemudian ni juz nk ensure time zone tu btol ke tak, mase same ke x ng ko pnye jam.. haha.. kalo xsame, pandai2 la adjuz.. xkn nk ajar jgk adjust tuh.. haha..  Info sini ni besenye extracted dari  BIOS settings,
Da siap sume tu, ape lg hit the Next button.

Biasanye orang plih "Home network" for desktop installations atau "Public network" untuk portable system, cam laptop ler. Buat pilihan anda and then continue to the next step. Windows 7 is now connecting to the network. This is where your initial IP address is acquired and internet connectivity is verified. But you can skip this step if you don't have any connection.!! :P

Windows 7 is finally... finalizing settings. This should only take a few moments to complete.

A very welcoming to the new year 2011.. Tahun baru membuka buku baru, segala pada yg lepas menjadi pengajaran untuk lebih maju dimasa hadapan. Sempena tahun baru ini, semua orang mungkin menanam azam baru sebagai target untuk dicapai.Tanamlah azam yg tinggi, setinggi2 azam itu setinggi2 itulah cita2 kita.. :)

Sebagai pelajar tahun akhir, semester akhir kejuruteraan mekanikal-teknologi marin Universiti Teknologi Malaysia , saya amat berharap semester ini berlalu dengan lancar. Masih ada beberapa kelemahan yang perlu diperbaiki, Insyaallah akn diperbaiki dengan segera. Ape jua cabaran yang mendatang, akan ditempuhi dengan sabar dan tekun. Doakn kejayaan aku jua!! :)


MASALAH? hurmm.. saya mengaku saya memang suke ponteng kelas. Saya addicted pada internet. Gila! haha.. Sehari tanpa internet, ibarat anak kucing kehilangn ibunya.. Bukan gila kerana laman sosial seperti Facebook twitter formspring, tetapi adelah halnya.. hahaha.. Bila keadaan sudah begitu, tido selalu lambat and pembelajaran terabai. aduss! other than that, sy ni kuat bersukan. Pernah kot petang sampai malam hanya bermain. Susahnya nk focus belajar.. Ade ke ubat untuk orang cmni? hahahaha...

Futsal.. between enjoy n pressure~

Ohlalala.. zaman skrg anak muda byk bergiat dlm sukan futsal.. pagi petang and malam pon ad.. bagusnye kelebihan sukan indoor ni. sdkit sbnyk melahirkan generasi sehat selaras ng hasrat negara.. malah, gejala sosial remaja juga trut dapat dibendung.. kerajaan seharusnya support aktiviti sebegini..

*bagi la free maen, ni kite abes RM5 sejam.. kalo ari2 maen, pokai la.. nk gak smpn duit simpan wat kawen.. hahaha*

ape2lah, saya pon suke gak men futsal.. seronok! abes peluh jantan kuar + toksin lg.. bgus2~!! kkdg addicted melampau kt sukan ni.. aiyaa. penah kot smpi kol 4pg men ftsal.. my parent lak ok je sbb dorg taw anakandanye ni suke bersukan.. yeahh2.. hahahaha..
